MOONWALKER
I've been soo boring this weekend.
In my defence I'll say it was due to lack of funds! I had big plans! I was gonna hit Land of the Kings on Friday AND Bodybox last night (if you dont know about it, join the facebook group.. its ALL ABOUT ITALO DISCO!!)

I saw Thick as Theives the other day, starts off SICK! The first ten minutes set it up to be a thrilling tale of thievery and scamming (my cup of tea,) but then - like so many other recent films - the gripping story line gets hijacked by the main dude falling in love at a news stand!! I kind of lost all respect for the movie when this happened. When it developed a bit more, the love story got more intense and came to its passionate peek in a "slow dancing to clubby trance music" moment, complete with slow motion.. I turned off.
Put on Moonwalker instead.

WHEN WE STOP MAKING FIRES.
Fuck!
I found the acapella to that Laroux track - In For the kill - last night on some forum.
It was a good thing and a bad thing.
It took me about 4 hours to work out the tempo, and pretty much ever since then I been working on it.Still not sure if it was a good way to do it but let me know your thoughts!

FUCK MY STOMACH HURTS.
I got too lean while I was making that beat last night and I have woken up with what feels like a bowling ball sitting in my stomach cos I ate so much while I was working - long.
Gotta spend the day with my ex today so not looking like I'm gonna get much done to the track, I'm gonna put it on back burner until tomorrow.
I'm sure I am not the first person to blog about this, but how fucking annoying is it when little kids sit on the back of the bus with their music on their phone. It happened to me yesterday while I was on my way to meet Huhu for a draw. This is what went down:
HER: (phone playing FLO RIDA or something.)
ME: Oi, turn that shit off please.
HER: NO. and its not shit man.
ME:It is shit and i dont want to have to sit here and listen to it.
HER: Tut shut up man.
ME: (getting up) Look turn it off or I'll come over there, take it off you and throw it out the window.
WOMAN BYSTANDER: You better turn it off,he looks like he'll do it.
HER:Fuck sake man. Turns off music.
I am now the bus vigilante. All preachers that get on the bus can fuck off too. I don't wanna listen to your incoherent ramblings. AND when there's two seats next to each other that are free, why do people sit on the outside one? and then fucking tut when you wanna sit down, BUT dont even move in then, no they get up and make you squeeze in pass them. FUCKING HATE THAT. just move across dickhead.

Bit by bit we win the race.
I just started working on a new track, it the first dubstep tune I've made really.
I'm gonna use the blog as a way to chart my progress, I've done the first 24 bars so far and I'm not even sure if they are gonna stay as they are. I love the sample though. I nicked it off lil wayne.

ALL NIGHT CALLERS.
I did radio yesterday. It was joke.
First of all I get there and it takes me about half hour to get some one to come open the door.
I get in and the studios been taken over by five or six little dudes all holding their pads and practicing bars etc.. I'm like fuck this, say safe to Pabz (the guy who runs the station) and go outside to bun a zoot before the set. After Sherene (see below) had told me about 8 times that her demo was gonna be late out and that her producer wants her to work with dott rotten, we find out that BT have locked off the whole areas internet so we have to do a recorded show.. Then the DJ (DJ Q) was trying to mix but his lappy couldnt handle it so he played like two tracks and Pabz had to roll out the vinyl.
SHEREENE:
Theres this chick who has pilfered my set off me- which was my own fault cos i was too mashed to go EVERY Sunday. Anyway heres a link to her myspazz:

I think she wanted to look like the bigman so she started telling any Tom, Dick and Harry they could have a set..
Well the outcome was...... interesting.. 4 or 5 young dudes came and were spitting bars straight off their pads, they were hungry and have alot to learn and I'll just let you make your own judgements when I post the video (as soon as Pabz uploads it.)
Anyway we did a set, then Pipedog rolled in with his boy who was safe but Ive forgotton his name and he had a sick hoodie. These man are SICK I cant wait to see that bit of the video. Look out for more of that back to back madness to come.
This funniest thing was at the end, when the youngers wanted to leave. They tried to duck out without paying subs!

The doors locked fam.
They ask about five times to be let out and they just get ignored then its pretty obvious they locked in till they pay they fivers... So they pay up and go home for their easter roast.
As Dj Qs leaving Pabz looks at him and goes "Don't come back next week" The dudes like " nah nah but Im rebooting my lappy tonight." Pabs goes, "nah nah seriously. Dont worry about it. Just dont come back." BAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
my oldie but goodie for the day:
